Sahara UK is a globally recognized UK-based Bhangra band best known for their high-energy Punjabi pop hits and live stage performances. Founded by lead vocalist Herbie Sahara, the band has been active since the late 1990s and early 2000s, blending traditional Punjabi bhangra beats with contemporary Western music production.
Key Tracks and Highlights
- Lal Ghagra: Their most famous signature anthem. It was originally an underground Bhangra hit and was later officially recreated for the mainstream Bollywood film Good Newwz.
- Billo Hai: A major collaborative single featuring Manj Musik and Raftaar. It was featured on the soundtrack of the Pakistani film Parchi – co-ordinated by Jazba Entertainment. [1]
